Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Work
All work will be completed as outlined in the approved quote or contract. Any changes, additions, or variations requested by the client may result in extra costs. All variations will be communicated and agreed to in writing before proceeding.
2. Pricing and Payment
A deposit may be required before work begins. Progress payments may be scheduled depending on project size and scope. Final payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise stated.
Prices are based on the conditions known at the time of quoting. If unexpected site conditions are found including rock, hidden structures, asbestos, poor soil, or access restrictions, additional charges may apply.
Late payments may attract reasonable recovery fees.
3. Access and Site Requirements
The client must provide clear and safe access to the site at all times.
The client must inform the business of underground and hidden services including electrical lines, gas, plumbing, stormwater, irrigation, fibre, and communications.
We are not liable for damage to services that were not disclosed or accurately identified.
4. Materials and Ownership
All materials delivered to site remain the property of the business until the project is fully paid.
Delivery timeframes may vary due to supplier availability or transport delays.
5. Construction Work and Limitations
Construction involves natural variations in materials and conditions. While we take care to meet project requirements, minor variations may occur.
We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by weather, supply shortages, existing structural weaknesses, or issues outside our control.
6. Safety and Compliance
We follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
The client must ensure the site is free from hazards such as pets, personal items, and unsafe areas while work is underway.
If the site is unsafe, work may be paused until the issue is resolved.
7. Warranties
Workmanship is covered by a warranty period consistent with industry standards in Australia.
This warranty does not apply to:
Wear and tear
Damage caused by weather events
Soil movement or settling
Misuse or changes made by the client
Pre-existing problems in the structure or site
Materials may carry their own manufacturer warranties.
8. Delays
Construction timelines are estimates only.
Delays may occur due to weather, supplier issues, subcontractor availability, unexpected site conditions, or other factors outside our control.
We will keep the client updated if delays occur.
9. Variations
Any work requested outside the original scope will be treated as a variation.
Variations must be approved before work continues and may affect cost and timeline.
10. Waste Removal
Waste removal is included only if specified in the quote.
If unexpected waste is discovered including rubble, excess soil, old building materials, or green waste, extra charges may apply.
11. Liability
We are not responsible for:
Damage caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client
Damage caused by third parties
Loss or damage caused by weather or events outside our control
Indirect or consequential loss
12. Insurance
We carry standard construction and public liability insurance.
Clients are encouraged to ensure their own property insurance covers construction activities before work begins.
13. Photos and Documentation
We may take photos of the work for records, safety documentation, or marketing.
If the client does not want photos used publicly, they must inform us in writing.
14. Cancellation
If the client cancels after booking, costs for materials purchased or work completed may be charged.
Short notice cancellations may incur additional fees.
15. Acceptance
By accepting our quote, paying a deposit, or engaging our services, the client confirms they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
